The reason Jesus Christ comes back

We, people of this era, always look for new horizons, and a new way to succeed. We invest all our time, effort and energy to reach the unreachable point of our live: Happiness to the full. No matter what we tried to get, or buy, or do, we always do it because we want to feel better. We want to be better person and make sure that we have what we need, as well as our beloved ones.

We put so much effort into physical treasures, but we often forget there is a spirit inside of us. We always forget we have a soul. Between the soul and the body, which one is our essence? Obviously our spirits since all our emotions come from there, as well as our personality and the way we react to certain things. That’s the other half of us, living beings (genesis 2:7).

Jesus Christ said 2000 years ago that he came to give us life, and life to the full (John 10:10) but then He said he would come back like a thief in the night in the last days (revelation 3:3, revelation 16:15). Think about it. When he comes like a thief, is everybody going to be able to see Him? No, but only the ones who are spiritually awake will be able to see Him. And the reason of his coming, according to the book of Hebrews 9:28, is to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. When God comes a second time he comes to bring salvation to us. But if He’s coming to bring salvation that means that our spirits are in a good or in a dangerous condition before His coming? Think about it, His purpose is to bring salvation, but why would he leave his glorious throne again in order to bring salvation to us if we already had it? It wouldn’t make sense.

Clearly there is a problem with our souls that we need salvation, we are in a spiritual danger. That’s why Jesus has to come back to save us, according to the bible, so in order to receive salvation we need to go to the savior, in this case Second Coming Christ…. But why are we in spiritual danger?
