What happened to the Passover?

According to the scriptures, the only way to have eternal life established by Jesus Christ is the Passover. As mentioned in previous posts, Jesus Christ gave His body and blood to us through the Passover bread and wine for the forgiveness of our sins. Such important ceremony should be the kept by the generations to come as Jesus Commanded us saying: “Do this in remembrance of me” (Luke 22:19). Jesus Called the Passover the New Covenant, which means the new command or the new pact between God and us.

Following Jesus Commandment, the apostles did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover. Let’s see the example of the apostle Paul who kept the Passover saying: “For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me." In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me." For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.”” (1 Corinthians 11:23-26) so we also as Christians should continuously keep the Passover as the apostles did.

The reality is that almost no one keeps the Passover of eternal life, even though is clearly testified in the bible, and many scholars admit it was directed by Jesus. Why don’t they keep it? It’s because it was abolished by a man named: Constantine, a Roman emperor, who through the counsel of Nicaea in the year 325 A.D. changed God’s laws and set times (Daniel 7:25). This will be talked more about later.

How did the Passover come back?(next Post)
